Kansas State begins a two-game homestand on Sunday afternoon, as the Wildcats welcome No. 22/18 Iowa State to Bramlage Coliseum. K-State will look to snap a season-high three-game losing skid. In its last outing on Jan. 23, Kansas State dropped its third straight game, 71-56, at then-No. 7 and unbeaten Nebraska. Iowa State bounced back from two straight conference losses to register a four-game winning streak and earn a ranking of No. 22/18 in this week’s polls. In the Cyclones’ most recent game, Iowa State defeated No. 11/12 Oklahoma in Ames, 63-56. K-State and Iowa State tip off at 2 p.m. on Sunday afternoon at Bramlage Coliseum and you can catch the pregame on KMAN at 1:30.
After months of waiting, it’s finally here. Kansas State entertains arch rival and big 12 leading Kansas on Saturday night inside Bramlage Coliseum. It’s sure to be a circus inside Bramlage with ESPN’s College Gameday in town. The Cats are looking to avenge a pair of losses to the Jayhawks last season including a tough one at home to Kansas 85 to 74. K-State head coach Frank Martin says there’s plenty of distractions for his team leading up to this game, but College Gameday stopping in Manhattan is a reflection of the program as a whole. Kansas brings a plethora of weapons to Manhattan, but K-State knows they must first shut down KU’s dynamic duo of Sherron Collins and Cole Aldrich.
Tip off between K-State and Kansas is set for 6 p.m. Saturday at Bramlage Coliseum. Coverage on KMAN begins at 4 with Powercat Gameday live from Paddy O’ Quigley’s with Matt Walters, Tim Fitzgerald of GoPowercat.com and Powercat Illustrated, and the Lawrence Journal-World’s Tom Keegan.
