It wasn’t shocking that K-State beat rival Kansas to open Big 12 play, but the way they did it, by routing the Jayhawks 59-35. The Wildcats will go for the season sweep of KU on Sunday in Lawrence. K-State coach Deb Patterson says that game has no impact almost a month later, and it’ll be a big task though to beat the Jayhawks at Allen Field House. Freshman Brittany Chambers says that game provided her with a confidence boostm as K-State has taken 17 of the last 18 contests against their in state rival.
