The Sporting News named K-State junior guard Jacob Pullen to their All-American third team. Pullen is the first Cat to receive the honor since Michael Beasley was named to the first team in 2008, and the first K-State guard since Rolando Blackman was a first teamer in 1981. He’s the 17th Wildcat to be named an all-American. Pullen is averaging 18.9 points, 3.6 assists, and 2.7 rebounds per game for K-State. He’s also shooting 41 percent from the field and 38 percent from three point range. Pullen also received consensus all-Big 12 first team honors this week. He and Beasley are the only first team all-Big 12 players for the Cats since the inception of the league.
